Project Overview
Amber Residential Development is a six-storey Group C multi-unit residential building in Maple Ridge, BC. The design serves 115 suites and was modeled to Step Code 2 using a whole-building approach with suite-level high efficiency heat pump, ERVs and a code-compliant corridor pressurization strategy.
The modeled floor area is ≈ 9,105 m² with a balanced WWR ≈ 0.42. Results (corridor credit applied) achieve TEUI ≈ 124 kWh/m²/yr, TEDI ≈ 36 kWh/m²/yr, and GHGI ≈ 8.6 kg CO2e/m²/yr, confirming compliance with BCBC Part 10 Step Code 2 while maintaining envelope performance and ventilation effectiveness for a high-quality residential outcome.
