Five-storey mixed-use office building with four underground parking levels. Our scope covered Part 3 building energy modeling to demonstrate BC Energy Step Code 2 compliance for office, retail, and childcare occupancies.
The IES-VE 2023 model applied the weighted-average method across occupancies (per CoV EMG V2) and a separate NECB Part 8 reference for the childcare occupancy. Results: TEUI ≈ 127.6 and TEDI ≈ 34.6 (overall); childcare vs NECB: TEDI ≈ 82.3 (target =114) and TEUI ≈ 256 (target =342).
